Indonesia 21: Cubadak Island – West Sumatera

Cubadak island is located in Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatera. Total area of the island is about 705 hectare, surrounded by clear blue water. It is a good spot for snorkling. Another nice island to visit, besides Sikuai Island.

Benyamin Lakitan received a BS at Sriwijaya University (Indonesia) in 1982, MS at University of Kentucky (USA) in 1987, and Ph.D. at Cornell University (USA) in 1989. In 1991, awarded 'Adithya Tridharma Nugraha' as Indonesian Best Lecturer by Ministry of Education and Culture. Now, professor at Sriwijaya University and Deputy Minister for Research and Technology, Indonesia. And his hobby is photography .....
