Langkisau hill is only about 250 meter above sea level, however it protrudes directly to the Indian Ocean, making this hill an excellent spot to view the coastal area of Pesisir Selatan Regency, including so many small islands nearby and the city of Painan. It has 270 degree view to the ocean, north-west-south view. Langkisau hill is one of recommended spot for paragliding. It has a permanent take-off stip toward Salido beach as the targeted landing area.
