The Hassan II Mosque (مسجد الحسن الثاني) in Casablanca is the largest (and in my opinion also the most beautiful) mosque in Morocco. It is a bit smaller than Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia, but its minaret is the world’s tallest at 210 m (689 ft). It was built on reclaimed land, facing to the Atlantic. A total of 105,000 worshippers can be accomodated for prayer at the mosque.
This beautiful mosque was designed by Michel Pinseau (French architect).
